StuckOnWordle is a wordle helper that keeps your puzzle inputs inside your browser. We do not request logins, store guesses on our servers, or build individual profiles. The only personal data we can access comes from the partners described below when their scripts load.
- No first-party cookies or databases are used. All data collection is limited to Google Analytics, Google AdSense, and Amazon Associates when their scripts or links load.
- Google Analytics now runs by default for aggregate usage insights; use the opt-out tools below if you prefer to prevent that tracking.
- Third-party storefront links (such as Amazon) open in a new tab. Those companies may process your data under their own policies once you leave StuckOnWordle.
Affiliate disclosure
Some guides and tools (such as the books page) include outbound affiliate links. StuckOnWordle participates in the programs listed below and may earn a commission from qualifying purchases when you use those links.
- Amazon Services LLC Associates Program – provides referral fees for eligible orders placed through localized Amazon storefronts after clicking our tagged URLs.
Any future affiliate relationships will be added to this list and reflected in the Privacy Policy and Terms of Service so you can quickly see how monetization works before you shop.
Analytics notice
StuckOnWordle runs Google Analytics on every page to understand aggregate usage trends. You can opt out of analytics tracking through the official browser add-on listed below or by using your browser's tracking prevention settings.
How each partner uses data
Google Analytics (measurement)
We rely on Google Analytics 4 via the gtag.js library for aggregate usage trends. When loaded, Google sets cookies to generate session IDs and collects IP address, approximate location, device type, language, and the pages you visit.
- Purpose: understand which tools and guides are most helpful.
- Data recipient: Google LLC acts as our analytics processor.
- Retention: we only view anonymized, aggregated reports inside the Analytics dashboard.
Opt out: install the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
Google AdSense (advertising)
We use Google AdSense to display advertisements. Google and its partners use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website or other websites.
- Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to this site and/or other sites on the Internet.
- You may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings.
Amazon Associates (affiliate links)
The Wordle books page uses tagged outbound
links (tag=abstractcs-22) to Amazon storefronts. Amazon
sets its own cookies to remember the referral, attribute purchases,
and personalize listings.
- Purpose: earn a commission when you buy recommended books.
- Data recipient: Amazon retains information about your device, the referring page, and eventual orders. StuckOnWordle only sees aggregated earnings reports.
- Trigger: data collection occurs only after you click an Amazon link and land on their site.
Opt out: avoid clicking the outbound links or adjust your preferences inside Amazon Advertising settings.
Tracker & SDK inventory
We manually reviewed every HTML template on 14 May 2024. Instead of a long per-page table, the following summary covers the only third-party services currently referenced across the site.

Children's privacy
StuckOnWordle is intended for players 13 and older. We never knowingly collect data about children. If you believe a child has interacted with the site in a way that sent personal data to our partners, contact us and we will work with Google or Amazon to remove it.
